Nokomis Plumbing Isn't
Like Anywhere Else in Florida
"Salt air, sandy soil, and decades-old pipes — Nokomis homes have a specific set of plumbing vulnerabilities most plumbers overlook."
Nokomis sits right at the southern tip of Sarasota County, flanked by Little Sarasota Bay and the Gulf. That coastal proximity is gorgeous — and it quietly accelerates pipe corrosion in ways that inland communities never experience. Pre-1990 copper supply lines here corrode from the outside in, a failure mode most plumbers don't even test for.
Then there's the soil. The sandy fill under Nokomis homes allows foundation movement that stresses slab-embedded pipes year after year. It's why slab leaks are three times more common in coastal Sarasota County than in central Florida markets.
TK Plumbing has been servicing Nokomis homes since 2010. We know which subdivisions have polybutylene pipes that should have been replaced a decade ago, and we know exactly how Florida's hard water destroys water heaters ahead of schedule. That local knowledge is what separates us from a franchise that routes your call through a 1-800 number.

Real Words from Nokomis Homeowners

I woke up to water pooling under my kitchen floor — no obvious source, just a slow spreading stain. TK Plumbing found a pinhole in my slab within an hour using their thermal camera. No jackhammering. No mess. Fixed same afternoon. I've never felt more relieved after a plumbing call.
I manage three rental properties on Nokomis Beach Road. TK Plumbing handles all my plumbing calls — same-day, detailed invoices, no tenant drama. My last plumber would disappear for two days. These guys answer at 7 AM and get it done. Won't use anyone else.
Our water heater gave out on a Friday evening. I expected to be told "Monday at best." TK Plumbing had a new unit installed by 9 PM — same day — and the tech walked me through every setting before he left. The price matched the quote exactly. I told my whole neighborhood.
